About The Team

We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel/Legal Advisor to join our Legal CY team , which consists of 4 members. This is an onsite role in our Limassol office (5/2 schedule), with flexible working hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm or 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, based on your preference.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with a variety of legal matters, including commercial contracts, employment regulations, GDPR compliance, and other legal aspects relevant to our business operations within the EU market. You will also collaborate closely with different departments to provide legal support and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

Tasks

Conducting legal research and providing legal advice on day-to-day fast-track legal requests in various areas of law, including contract, commercial, employment law, GDPR, and general queries affecting the business, preparing clear and coherent memos.

Reviewing new applicable laws and regulations and advising on how they may affect the group’s operations.

Drafting, reviewing, and amending commercial/vendor contracts, intragroup agreements for restructuring purposes or otherwise, marketing agreements, agreements dealing with intellectual property rights and rights of use, whether in software or online advertising, policies, and online terms and conditions of the Group.

Advising on exposure and risks related to third-party/vendor transactions or intra-Group arrangements.

Preparing and updating necessary corporate documents for the Group, whether as part of day-to-day processes or for Group restructuring purposes.

Analyzing and advising on GDPR aspects, implementing, updating, and following necessary procedures.

Interacting, supporting, and cooperating with other departments of the Group (accounting, compliance, back-office, marketing, procurement, HR, and administration departments).

Any other duties that may be assigned, based on the changing needs of the Group.

Requirements

At least 5 years of post-qualification proven experience in a similar position is a must.

Bachelor’s degree in Law.

Background in contract, commercial, corporate, and GDPR law.

Strong drafting skills and hands-on experience in the preparation of contracts and provision of legal advice and memos in corporate, contract, and commercial law.

Excellent command (both verbal and written) of Greek and English.

Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.

Nice to have

Master’s degree in Law.

Regulatory and litigation experience.

Relevant CySEC certificates.
