This Legal Counsel will take on a key role within an international company as they are expanding its Malta-based team. Due to growth and strong projections moving forward, the company is offering career development opportunities for a lawyer looking to establish a career in-house within a multinational company, or an experienced lawyer looking to work part-time with a flexible work-schedule.
In this role, you will directly report to and collaborate ongoingly with the appointed Director of the company, who is also the Head of Legal. This will allow you to be part of complex company projects on a cross-border level as well as being a key facilitator for further growth leading commercial initiatives.

You will:
Handle corporate & commercial transactions;
Draft, review and negotiate agreements, leading to successful partnerships;
Advise management on issues requiring legal input;
Handle ad-hoc legal matters as needed within the business such as employment law, data privacy, intellectual property.
Experience:
Qualified lawyer in Europe
2+ years PQE, either from law firm or advisory firm
Expertise within general corporate & commercial law is desired
Salary / Remuneration: EUR 50,000 – 60,000 DOE
