Our client, is looking to recruit a Legal Counsel to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
Support team members to ensure all departmental goals are met
Identify gapes in regulation, policy and procedure, leading the development and review of internal frameworks to maintain their relevance
Support the drafting of policy papers by handling research, coordination with stakeholders locally and internationally as well as internal meetings
Representing the organisation in overseas conferences, forums and events
Monitor EU and global regulatory developments, providing timely insight and guidance to internal teams
Providing legal advice when required
Support the organisation with legal cases as required, liaising with internal and external parties to ensure accurate representation and compliance
Supporting in the day to day running of all legal matters and the Chief of Legal
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of local experience working in a similar field and role
Excellent written and Verbal English
Knowledge of local laws and regulations
Travelling is involved
Previous experience in policy-making and/or international affairs would be considered an asset
Education and Experience
Locally Warranted and Qualified Lawyer
