Role Overview
This is a critical role supporting the organisation’s commercial, operational, and strategic growth objectives. The Legal Counsel will work closely with senior leadership, offering expert guidance on key legal matters, managing complex M&A activities, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice to support commercial and operational leaders.
Oversee legal aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and integration.
Ensure the organisation meets all regulatory and compliance requirements in existing and new markets.
Collaborate with external legal advisors to secure cost-effective and timely solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and contribute to strategic discussions and decisions.
Requirements
Qualified lawyer with a Master’s degree in law and admission to the bar in a relevant jurisdiction (Germany, Switzerland, or similar).
4-7 years of experience in corporate legal counsel or law firm roles, ideally with exposure to healthcare, private equity, or regulated industries.
Strong expertise in M&A, compliance, and corporate governance.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior executives and investors.
Fluency in German and English is essential; additional European languages are a plus.
