Legal Counsel – Crypto, Fintech & International Regulatory Jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at Talent Higher

Title: Legal Counsel – Crypto, Fintech & International Regulatory

Company: Talent Higher

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a senior international lawyer to take ownership of the legal function for a fast-moving consulting and administration business supporting global crypto, fintech and software businesses.

This is a genuinely hands-on role for a lawyer who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, regulation, product and international corporate structuring.

You will work directly with founders, product and engineering teams, advising on products and features before they launch and providing practical, commercially minded solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise on complex cross-border regulatory and product issues across the US, UK, EU, Australia, BVI and Cayman
  • Draft and negotiate commercial, corporate, technology and platform agreements
  • Conduct feature-level regulatory and risk assessments for crypto/fintech products
  • Advise on AML/KYC, sanctions, licensing, geo-restrictions and consumer protection
  • Lead international corporate structuring and entity governance
  • Manage external counsel on cross-border disputes and litigation
  • Support IP, commercial negotiations and corporate housekeeping
  • Build and develop the legal and compliance framework from the ground up

We are looking for:

  • Strong international legal experience
  • Strong cross-border regulatory experience
  • Genuine crypto, fintech and/or blockchain experience
  • Strong understanding of how blockchain products and digital assets operate
  • Experience with areas such as token launches, exchanges, launchpads, payments or Web3
  • Proven experience managing international disputes through external counsel
  • Strong corporate structuring experience
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a startup/entrepreneurial environment
  • Able to make clear, commercially practical decisions where the law is evolving or uncertain
  • Fast-moving, pragmatic and comfortable advising senior stakeholders directly

Highly desirable: multi-jurisdictional qualification, UAE/BVI/Cayman experience, previous in-house experience within a crypto exchange, fintech or payments business, and exposure to US regulators or litigation.

This role will suit a lawyer who wants ownership, autonomy and genuinely complex international work — not someone looking for a traditional legal department environment.
