If you are a newly qualified 1 or 2 PQE lawyer with experience in corporate and commercial work, either in-house or in Private Practice, and are seeking a dynamic, broad role within one of the most impressive FinTech in the UK, please get in touch for more information.
Responsibilities:
Work with the relevant business teams to draft, review, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements, and other legal documents with third parties, including vendors, clients, and partners, whilst maintaining the processes that underpin them
Develop and maintain the legal processes, policies, and precedents that underpin all business units
Assist in resolving legal disputes, including working with external counsel when necessary
Assist with acquisitions, corporate integration projects, and corporate governance matters,
Be a trusted legal advisor to the commercial teams to help establish, maintain, and expand business relationships whilst providing input into new products and initiatives
Provide a day-to-day legal perspective and guidance as well as identify legal risks
As you grow, you will have the opportunity to develop and train more junior members of the team.
Requirements:
Strong drafting and negotiating skills, and the ability to apply them independently to drive the business forward and create real value.
Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 1-2 years of experience post qualification
Demonstrated relevant legal experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or a related industry
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skill
