About the opportunity
A international group is looking for a Legal Counsel to support its General Counsel across commercial contracting, governance and legal operations.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Provide practical, risk-based legal advice.
- Support corporate governance, statutory compliance and corporate secretarial matters across jurisdictions.
- Coordinate intellectual property filings, renewals and records.
- Improve legal trackers, templates and internal processes.
- Support investigations and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- 4-8 PQE, with law firm training preferred.
- Qualified in a relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong drafting skills and commercial judgment.
- Organised and able to work independently in a lean environment.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving abilities.
- This person will be working with management, business units leaders, external lawyers etc.
This role offers close exposure to the General Counsel, broad international responsibilities and the opportunity to help shape a scalable legal function.
