What You’ll Do
- You will work with, and support and advise, our business teams on domestic and global corporate activities and projects, including and involving equity, debt, mergers and acquisitions, post-closing integration and other similar matters.
- You will support our business teams on incentive-based compensation involving equity.
- You will support our tax team on global tax related matters.
- You will support various teams on drafting and negotiating a range of agreements, including global service agreements, finance related agreements and inter company agreements.
- You will advise the company on corporate law matters, registrations and filings, including supporting and ensuring compliance globally.
- You will ensure, identify and tackle the challenges in the global corporate governance law space.
- Assist with other general corporate matters, including drafting resolutions and regulatory corporate filings across various jurisdictions.
Who You Are
- Law degree required.
- A minimum of 5+ years’ total experience (a minimum of 3 years law firm experience required; any additional experience in-house at a global public company is a particular plus).
- Expertise in corporate and company laws.
- The ability to build, keep and maintain good relations internally and externally.
- A team player.
- Experience in project management.
- A self-starter with an excellent compliance skillset.
- Experience in the music, tech or media sector.
- The ability to adapt quickly. The industry is changing fast and it is critical to be able to adapt to new market conditions and circumstances.
- Well-organized, with attention to detail, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
