About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented Legal Counsel with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in Contracts, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and Client Advisory. The role requires strong drafting skills, client-handling abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contract Drafting & Review
– Draft, review, negotiate, and vet commercial agreements.
– Identify legal and commercial risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
2. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
– Conduct trademark searches and handle filings, objections, oppositions, and renewals.
– Draft licensing, assignment, and IP commercialization agreements.
3. Client Consultation & Advisory
– Conduct legal consultations and advise MSMEs on contracts, compliance, and risk management.
– Explain legal implications in business-friendly language.
4. Matter Management
– Manage assigned matters end-to-end.
– Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
5. Knowledge & Process Development
– Develop templates, clause libraries, and legal checklists.
– Conduct training and contribute to legal awareness initiatives.
Skills Required
Technical Skills:
– Contract drafting and negotiation
– Contract Act, Companies Act, IPR Laws
– Trademark prosecution and legal research
Soft Skills:
– Communication and presentation
– Client relationship management
– Problem-solving and commercial awareness
Qualification
LL.B. from a recognized university, enrolled with the Bar Council of India, with 3–4 years of relevant experience.
