Senior Legal Professional – Gurgaon
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Professional to join our client in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, managing multiple cross-border commercial contracts and negotiations simultaneously.
Key Requirements
✅ Experience: 18+ years of PQE in transactional commercial contracts, agreements, and negotiations
✅ Education: Law graduate from a reputable institution with 10+ years of experience
✅ Industry Background: Preferably from a corporate organization within IT-ITES, Technology, Airlines, Oil & Gas, Power & Infrastructure, Consulting, M&A, or Private Equity
✅ Location: Gurgaon (Work from Office – 5 days a week, Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities
Contract Negotiation & Management: Handle and negotiate a variety of contracts on an end-to-end basis, including:
Services agreements
Software development & licensing agreements
Sales & marketing agreements
Lease & purchase agreements
Repair agreements
Agreements with online travel agents
Ancillary sales agreements
Financing arrangements
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal clients, draft contracts, build consensus, and ensure smooth execution, closing, and implementation of agreements.
Aircraft Delivery & Redelivery: Support ongoing aircraft delivery and redelivery processes, coordinate with lessors, manage regulatory filings (DGCA), and liaise with internal stakeholders.
Legal Advisory & Compliance: Advise internal teams on various non-tax legal matters, including contract law, aviation law, company law, and FEMA, ensuring all agreements comply with applicable regulations.
External Legal Coordination: Occasionally engage with external legal counsel for expert opinions and transaction-related advice.
Process Improvement: Develop and enhance internal processes to streamline operations, mitigate legal risks, and ensure timely project completion with minimal supervision.
