Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Lawyer in Pakistan to support our organization with legal, corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in contract drafting, corporate governance, employment matters, regulatory compliance, and general legal advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, service agreements, employment contracts, contractor agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters in Pakistan.
- Support company incorporation, corporate filings, board resolutions, shareholder documentation, and other governance requirements.
- Ensure company policies, contracts, and business practices comply with applicable Pakistani laws and regulations.
- Assist with dispute resolution, legal notices, and coordination with external counsel where required.
- Advise management on legal risk and provide practical, business-focused recommendations.
- Maintain organized legal records, templates, and documentation.
- Support HR and operations teams with employment-related legal matters, including offer letters, terminations, contractor arrangements, and workplace compliance.
Qualifications
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
- Licensed to practice law in Pakistan.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant corporate/commercial legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistani corporate, employment, contract, and regulatory law.
- Experience drafting and reviewing contracts in English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international companies, startups, technology companies, NGOs, or service-based organizations.
- Familiarity with cross-border contracts and international client/vendor agreements.
- Experience supporting HR, compliance, and corporate governance matters.
