The Business

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Legal for Australia, you would work closely with various business units and functions across ANZ on a broad range of local matters ranging from commercial contracts to employment law, and you would also have the opportunity to work with the wider region on projects driven by the business overseas.
Key Responsibilities
Role encompasses working with the Head of Legal to manage a billion-dollar asset portfolio. You will be involved in assisting on new product development, and work across a broad range of corporate commercial matters; drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements related to IP, data privacy, and real estate matters. You will also provide transactional support related to M&A activities, oversee the management of disputes, and you will also assist with driving automation, and sustainability initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Legal Counsel (3-6 years PAE) with solid corporate and commercial experience. You will have spent time in private practice at a reputable law firm. Experience with FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer products is desirable but not essential.
