About the Role: As our Legal Counsel, you’ll be the go-to guru for all things employment and privacy law. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:
Key Responsibilities:
Legislative Updates: Stay ahead of the game by constantly monitoring legislative updates and sharing the latest intel with the team.
Legal Research: Dive deep into the world of employment and privacy law, conducting thorough research and staying on top of case law and practice.
Legal Advisory: Provide timely and practical legal advice on employment-related issues (think terminations, employee complaints, and tailoring work schedules) and privacy-related matters.
Employment Documentation: Draft and review employment documentation, including contracts and internal policies.
Contract Drafting and Review: Amend commercial contracts with various suppliers to ensure everything is in tip-top shape.
Required Skills:
Experience: 3-4 years as an attorney, with a solid track record in employment and privacy law.
Analytical and Communication Skills: Sharp analytical mind and top-notch communication skills.
Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Multitasking: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Commercial Awareness: Well-developed commercial awareness with a solution-based approach.
Litigation Experience: Experience in litigation (especially employment cases) is a plus.
Multijurisdictional Experience: Experience with Bulgarian and Serbian law is a bonus.
Education: Master of Law from an accredited law school, preferably in Romania.
