Firm Advice is conducting a search for an experienced Technology Contracts Attorney who has strong experience drafting and negotiating complex technology and other commercial contracts. Our client is a global technology company that provides testing, monitoring, and solutions across telecommunications, networking, and related industries.
Hourly rate ranges between $85 and $125 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing support for IP-related commercial transactions (licensing, joint development).
- Assisting with IP portfolio organization, strategy, and budgeting.
- Supervising outside counsel patent and trademark prosecution.
- Providing legal advice and support to the business for all IP-related issues (i.e., patent, trade secret, trademark, copyright).
- Providing IP litigation (including cancelations, invalidity, oppositions, and post grant proceedings) support.
- Working closely with business unit to support the legal and business needs, including being first point of contact for all legal matters.
- Retain and supervise outside counsel.
REQUIREMENTS
- JD and member in good standing of at least one US bar.
- At least 7 years’ experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements.
- Experience with patent and trademark prosecution is a strong plus.
- Broad corporate legal experience, including experience with M&A and real estate a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
