This position will be in the Missouri Department of Natural Resources General Counsel’s Office, at the Lewis & Clark State Office Building, 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri.
This Is a Professional Position That Provides Legal Advice And Work Product For The Department Primarily Supporting The Division Of State Parks, With Opportunity To Expand To Additional Practice Areas. This Includes
Conducting complex transactional work;
Providing counsel on government procurement, state and federal grant administration, real estate transactions, and public records law;
Providing counsel on contract and land disputes, risk management, and premises liability;
Drafting, interpreting, and analyzing current and proposed state and federal statutes, regulations, and policies;
Coordinate with the Attorney General’s Office on matters referred to that office for litigation; and
Identifying issues and counseling department team members regarding general legal matters.
