- Provide legal advice and daily legal support. Recommend strategies to the Voith Group companies in China and other APAC countries;
- Review, draft and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements;
- Foresee and protect the Voith Group companies in APAC against legal risks;
- Ensure compliance with appropriate corporate governance practices;
- Coordinate litigation and arbitration matters, and supervise and manage outside counsel;
- Provide advices in addressing employment-related issues;
- Corporate Governance Issues, management of legal entity registration and deregistration in China;
- Provide Compliance trainings, participating in compliance case investigations and disciplinary actions;
- Lead or participate in global initiatives or projects. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above from a top tier law school.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- At least 5 years of experience in a corporate legal department or a law firm, with a focus on corporate law.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently and creatively.
- Willingness to travel within China, including to Voith’s Operation Units in Shanghai and other cities.
- Experience in corporate governance, compliance programs or internal investigations is preferred.
