A US-headquartered product company is scaling its India hub and has partnered with Flexiple to hire its in-house Legal Counsel. You will be the go-to legal partner for teams shipping fast, owning the contracts and risk calls that keep the business moving. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As Legal Counsel, you will advise across commercial, product, and corporate matters – drafting and negotiating agreements, flagging risk early, and giving business teams clear, practical answers.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, and partner agreements
- Advise on data privacy, IP, and product and licensing questions
- Build and maintain templates, playbooks, and contract standards
Advisory & Risk
- Partner with sales, product, and finance on day-to-day legal queries
- Identify legal and regulatory risk and propose workable solutions
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial or corporate law
- An LLB with enrolment as an advocate or equivalent qualification
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- In-house experience at a technology, SaaS, or product company
- Exposure to cross-border or US-facing commercial agreements
- Familiarity with data-protection frameworks such as GDPR or DPDP
