Job Description
As In-House Commercial Legal Counsel varied responsibilities include:
Providing the business with legal support – engaging stakeholders across all levels of seniority across the business (US and Canada).
Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of contracts – including marketing and influencer partnerships.
Guiding the company on legal matters, updating policies, delivering training to encourage compliance and best practice.
Advising on risk management issues and corporate governance.
Engaging and managing external legal counsel as required.
The Successful Applicant
The successful In-House Legal Counsel – Commercial will offer:
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
4+ years relevant experience (combination of private practice and in-house), preference for some in-house experience or having been seconded in-house from private practice.
Strong communication, negotiating and stakeholder management skills.
Enjoys variety, comfortable juggling multiple projects and business requests.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.

The In-House Legal Counsel – Commercial role is offering:
Competitive salary c. $120,000 – $175,000 per annum
10% annual bonus
