Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate contracts for various business lines, providing risk assessments and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downsides.
Support business teams with the launch and development of new products and services, balancing commercial and regulatory considerations.
Identify legal issues and provide strategic assistance to various teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a broad range of transactional matters.
Advise on and implement solutions for issues, taking prudent risks within the business context.
Stay current on relevant laws to provide proactive, business-focused advice and counsel.
Prepare all legal entity documentation, corporate filings, and maintain legal entity databases.
Engage with local vendors to ensure compliance with local regulations, including maintaining a registered office and registered agent, and keeping accurate and up-to-date corporate records and documentation.
Respond to inquiries and document production requests from internal and external parties, including regulators.
Assist with regulatory filings.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an in-house counsel or lawyer for a Crypto, Financial, or Payment Institutions
Ability to work autonomously and reliably within tight timeframes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills to effectively work across various projects and global teams in different time zones.
Proficient understanding of commercial legal work with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating agreements.
Initiative to identify and solve problems in a business-friendly and solution-oriented manner.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Strategic, commercial, and practical thinking abilities.
