Robert HalfTalent Solutions is currently looking for a Legal Counsel (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Zaventem.
Our client is a fast growing company active in the chemical sector.
As Legal Counsel (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
You will draft and negotiate several types of agreements and support SCE regarding
its legal commercial activities (NDA’s, distribution & supply agreements, novation
agreements, …);
You will provide legal advice to day-to-day requests in an accurate, pragmatic and
clear way taking into account the company’s best interests;
You will advise your internal clients while ensuring compliance with the overall
Regional HQ’s instructions;
You are willing identify and improve existing policies and procedures to proactively
prevent issues and minimize risks, providing training towards your internal
stakeholders where necessary;
You assist internal stakeholders on getting documents signed according to the
internal process and support in getting document legalised where required;
You provide legislative advice and remain updated on recent changes in law that
have an impact on SCE and its day-to-day activities;
You will report to SCE’s Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer.
The required profile for the Legal Counsel (m/f/x) position:
You obtained a Master’s degree in Law;
You have minimum 2 years of experience as an International Legal Counsel or Legal Advisor;
You gained experience or have a strong interest in various other legal domains such Compliance, Commercial Law, Insurances, … Knowledge of GDPR is considered as a plus;
You are a team player with very effective communication and persuasion skills.
You are eager to learn and not afraid of some administrative work;
You are open to work in a multi-cultural environment. Experience with the Japanese culture is considered a big plus;
You are fluent in Dutch and English, other languages (French, Turkish and/or Japanese) are considered an asset;
You will work at the HQ of SCE in Zaventem, combined with a flexible homeworking policy.
