Our legal team is expanding, and we are seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience as a lawyer, with a proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of commercial and supplier agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, vendor agreements, addenda and amendment agreements, ensuring compliance with multiple legal frameworks.
Work closely with cross-functional teams within the business, including commercial, compliance and finance, to ensure all contracts align with overall business objectives and minimise potential risks.
Offer clear, practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders, including the commercial team, on commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards.
Ensure compliance with data protection requirements and draft, review and negotiate data protection agreements in an international environment.
Assist with the preparation of corporate documentation that shall be required from time to time for the entities forming part of the Nolimit City group of companies.
Maintain a contract registration and management system for the organisation of the commercial and vendor agreements and other documentation and facilitate smooth tracking of important agreement milestones, including renewals, expirations, and obligations.

Conduct legal research to stay informed of legislative and regulatory developments in multi-national regulatory online gambling regimes and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations and the mitigation of potential risk.
Handle additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated and required for the smooth running of the legal team.
Key Skills
Qualified lawyer, preferably with a warrant to practice law in Malta.
A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on commercial or corporate law.
Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, including those with cross-jurisdictional elements.
A high attention to detail individual with exceptional analytical skills to ensure contracts are accurate, enforceable, and aligned with the organisation’s objectives.
Fully committed to delivering high-quality work and having excellent organisational skills, even when managing tight deadlines or competing priorities.
A collaborative team player who is willing to share knowledge and contribute to the growth and success of the legal team whilst also being self-driven and able to work independently; consistently demonstrating productivity and accountability with minimal supervision.
