What work will you do?

You will:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documents;
  • Advise on commercial, regulatory, privacy, intellectual property and compliance matters;
  • Support governance frameworks, policies and risk management initiatives;
  • Assist with legal matters relating to medical research, healthcare and global operations;
  • Work closely with project teams and senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions;
  • Support strategic projects and day-to-day business operations;
  • Manage legal templates, processes and external legal counsel where required; and
  • Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across the organisation.

What type of person will be successful?

  • Admitted as a solicitor in Australia with a current practising certificate;
  • Approximately 6+ years’ PQE gained in private practice and/or in-house;
  • Strong commercial contracting and corporate/commercial experience;
  • Exposure to privacy, IP, healthcare regulation or compliance matters would be beneficial;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Commercially minded with strong problem-solving capability;
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating effectively within a team; and
  • A proactive and adaptable approach.
