What work will you do?
You will:
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documents;
- Advise on commercial, regulatory, privacy, intellectual property and compliance matters;
- Support governance frameworks, policies and risk management initiatives;
- Assist with legal matters relating to medical research, healthcare and global operations;
- Work closely with project teams and senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions;
- Support strategic projects and day-to-day business operations;
- Manage legal templates, processes and external legal counsel where required; and
- Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across the organisation.
What type of person will be successful?
- Admitted as a solicitor in Australia with a current practising certificate;
- Approximately 6+ years’ PQE gained in private practice and/or in-house;
- Strong commercial contracting and corporate/commercial experience;
- Exposure to privacy, IP, healthcare regulation or compliance matters would be beneficial;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Commercially minded with strong problem-solving capability;
- Ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating effectively within a team; and
- A proactive and adaptable approach.
