A well-established iGaming business in Limassol, is on the lookout for a Legal Counsel to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, the chosen candidate will provide legal and compliance support for the company’s business activities.
Responsibilities:
Review, draft, and modify contracts with providers and clients
Research and analyze legislation and gaming licensing matters
Support gaming license applications and maintain existing licenses
Handle KYC checks, documentation verification, and sanctions checks
Complete legal paperwork, including questionnaires, applications, and policies
Open accounts with banks and payment providers
Register and maintain companies and trademarks across jurisdictions
Conduct legal research and handle GDPR, AML, and IP matters
Update website documentation to ensure compliance with regulations
Assist with various legal tasks under the Head of Legal and Compliance
Requirements:
Law degree from a reputable university
Exceptional English writing and editing skills
Upper-intermediate English or higher
2+ years of experience in the gambling industry
Experience with AML/KYC, GDPR, and compliance regulations
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure
Hybrid work model: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote
