We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our legal team based in Munich. This role will provide legal support to our businesses in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial judgment, a pragmatic mindset, and extensive legal expertise gained from both private practice and in-house roles.
What you'll do
- Provide clear, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and legal documents
- Support development and implementation of internal legal policies, procedures, and systems
- Manage legal disputes and litigation
- Support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management activities
- Manage and coordinate external counsel as required
- Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business
What you'll bring
- Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany or the UK
- Minimum of 7 years’ post-admission legal experience, including at least 3 years of in-house experience
- Strong background in commercial and corporate law; additional expertise in compliance, regulatory, employment, or IP is a plus
- Fluent English required; German proficiency is highly preferred
- Experience working in an international or cross-border environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
