Legal Counsel
Location: Abu Dhabi
We are supporting a high-growth, technology-led organisation as they look to appoint a Legal Counsel to join their in-house team.
This is a broad, commercially focused role, ideal for a lawyer who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to business growth in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will act as a key legal partner to the business, advising across a wide range of matters including commercial contracts, regulatory considerations, and strategic initiatives.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements (supplier, customer, partnership, and technology contracts)
- Providing practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders
- Supporting on regulatory and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Advising on risk management and corporate governance frameworks
- Working closely with senior leadership on strategic projects and expansion initiatives
- Managing external counsel where required
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer (common law jurisdiction preferred)
- 4–8 years’ PQE (flexible depending on experience)
- Experience within a reputable law firm and/or in-house environment
- Strong background in commercial contracts and general corporate matters
- Exposure to technology, digital, or regulated sectors is advantageous
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
