We are looking for a Legal Counsel to provide expert legal guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business growth in the fast-evolving crypto payments and Web3 space. This role requires a proactive legal professional with a strong background in fintech, payments, and blockchain-related regulations.
What You’ll Do
Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters related to crypto payments, blockchain, and fintech.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including partnerships, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
Ensure compliance with global financial regulations, including AML/KYC, GDPR, MiCA, and other crypto-specific legal frameworks.
Work closely with compliance and risk teams to develop policies that align with regulatory requirements.
Monitor evolving crypto regulations and advise the business on legal risks and strategic opportunities.
Support dispute resolution, IP protection, and contract enforcement when necessary.
Collaborate with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities to navigate complex legal matters.
Assist in corporate governance, licensing, and other legal aspects of international expansion.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of legal experience in fintech, payments, blockchain, or financial services.
Strong understanding of crypto regulations, financial compliance, and contract law.
Experience working with AML, KYC, data privacy laws (GDPR), and financial licensing.
Ability to navigate legal complexities in a fast-moving, innovative industry.
Exceptional contract negotiation and drafting skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a commercial approach.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, compliance, product, and external legal teams.
Licensed to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
