Responsibilities:
- Provide pragmatic legal support across commercial, corporate, and operational matters within an international construction and infrastructure environment.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, with a particular focus on EPC and FIDIC-based contracts.
- Advise project and business teams on contractual risks, claims, regulatory requirements, and risk allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support corporate governance matters as well as dispute avoidance, arbitration, litigation, and the coordination of external counsel.
- Partner across the company with different teams and stakeholders on international projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with 3+ years of relevant in-house or law firm experience, ideally within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or EPC.
- Strong experience in international commercial contracting, including FIDIC frameworks, variation orders, and contract administration.
- Exposure to claims, arbitration, or dispute resolution in a construction or infrastructure context.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and solution-oriented, with an interest in legal technology to improve legal workflows.
