Legal & Corporate Governance Associate – Real Estate Funds | Investment firm
12-month contract | Start: ASAP | Luxembourg
We’re looking for an experienced Associate to join a Fund Legal Services team, taking day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of European real estate fund structures. This is an operational role; you’ll be the main point of contact for legal and corporate administration matters, working closely with Legal teams, local colleagues and external service providers across EMEA.
The Role:
- Managing the day-to-day legal, corporate governance and compliance matters of European real estate funds.
- Coordinating the fund lifecycle, including incorporations, restructurings, financings, transactions and regulatory filings (LBR/CSSF).
- Organising board and shareholder meetings, preparing corporate documentation, coordinating signatures, and maintaining statutory records.
- Handling investor-related legal matters (AML/KYC, subscriptions, transfers, redemptions, capital calls and reporting) while partnering with internal and external stakeholders across EMEA.
Ideal Profile:
- 4+ years’ legal experience within funds, a law firm, regulator, or similar environment, with the ability to operate independently.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg open-ended funds and fund legal/corporate governance matters.
- Degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; fluent English required, French and/or German is a plus.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with strong stakeholder management skills; real estate funds exposure is advantageous.
