Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties
Contract Review & Management
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating of customer and procurement agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, customer compliance documents, office lease agreements, etc.
Maintain and update the contract management system and repository.
Serve as an initial point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing creative business and legal counsel on a wide range of issues common to rapidly-growing public companies.
Entity Management
Support the maintenance of corporate records and compliance requirements for all EMEA group entities.
Coordinate with external corporate secretarial service providers to ensure timely filings and statutory compliance.
Assist in the preparation and filing of board resolutions, annual returns, and other regulatory documentation.
Stakeholder Liaison
Act as a key point of contact between the legal team and internal departments (e.g., sales, finance, HR) on legal and compliance matters.
Work with external counsel and service providers to manage ongoing legal matters and ensure timely support.
Support cross-functional teams with legal input on strategic initiatives and projects
Provide compliance awareness and counsel with respect to European laws and regulations.
Provide education and training to EMEA staff.
Required And Preferred Experience
Minimum of 2/3 years’ experience working in a law firm or supporting an in-house legal team (preferably in a technology or corporate law environment).
Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field; a legal diploma or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, ICSA, Paralegal Certification) is an advantage.
Experience reviewing commercial agreements (sales and sourcing), including non-disclosure agreements and codes of conduct.
Understanding of commercial contract clauses and their risks and mitigation strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; superior organizational abilities; ability to handle multiple projects effectively; experience working successfully with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
Self-starter, someone who takes the initiative on important projects; Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency.
Fluency in English required.
Experience working with global or multi-jurisdictional entities is highly desirable.
