This is a non-attorney position.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Review and analyze non-disclosure agreements, client agreements, supplier contracts and other commercial contracts to identify business risks;

Correctly interpret contract provisions;

Draft, negotiate and amend contracts with assistance and supervision;

Recommend contract language to internal and external parties;

Recognize and communicate unique requirements and issues that arise in different contract settings;

Maintain the contract database;

Assist with the collection of legal debt;

Respond and address legal or contract inquiries from front office staff;

Assist in any other short-term and long-term projects as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in a legal/corporate office preferred;

At least 1 year of contract negotiation and redlining;

At least 1 year of experience with risk analysis and negotiations;

At least 1 year of experience reading and working with commercial contracts;

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;

Effective time-management in a demanding, deadline-driven environment;

Ability to adapt in an environment of ongoing change, growth and progress;

Professional, clear and informative writing style;

Varying writing style to meet client and company needs;

Patience, attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness when interpreting and analyzing written commercial contracts;

Ability to effectively collect and research data and facts;

Exercises professionalism at all times;

Commits fully to the job;

Dependability (follows instructions, responds to management direction, meets deadlines, consistently arrives to work on time); and

Takes initiative, asks for help and offers help as needed.

Compensation

$45-60K Commensurate with experience and qualifications; (eligible for overtime)

Medical, dental and prescription drug benefit plans and programs are offered to an employee after the employee satisfies the seniority and other eligibility requirements of such programs.
