We are looking for a part-time highly capable contract review consultant who will perform a legal review of our contracts to reduce contractual risk. The position requires a general understanding of a broad range of terms and conditions.
This position can be remotely located.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Performs contract review to ensure legal and contractual implications
- Reviews indemnification terms, liability and warranty language, and ownership of documents
- Effectively and promptly communicates deficiencies in documents
- Review insurance requirements in contracts and provide suggested changes based up on our insurance program, research on best practices, and the consultant’s experience working on contract reviews
- Provide guidance on contract review questions
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2 + years of experience in contract review
- Familiarity with the design/construction industry and AIA contracts a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Familiarity with Bluebeam a plus
- Works independently with strong organization and time-management skills
- Analytical with attention to detail
- Demonstrates positive attitude
- Respects client confidentiality
- The ability to multi‐task
- A willingness to learn

Pay: $50.00 – $90.00 per hour
