You will provide legal advice, assistance, prepare legal documents and address various ad hoc legal issues within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the organization on a range of legal matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including commercial agreements.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the UAE.Conduct legal research and analysis to support the organization’s objectives.
Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
Advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with other departments to address legal issues and provide support.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Qanooni Legal AI Platform.
Qualifications:
A strong interest in technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence.
Possession of a University degree in Law.
Fluency in both English and Arabic languages (bilingual proficiency).Practical experience with UAE law, including the drafting and reviewing of commercial agreements.
Ideally, a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) within private legal practice.
Preference for experience across a variety of legal practice areas.
Solid foundation in legal principles,
problem identification
, and advisory capabilities.
Proficient in preparing legal documentation and providing legal support.
Capacity to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within a
team environment
.
