**Position Overview:**Â Â
We are seeking a bilingual Lawyer fluent in both English and Arabic to join our Collections Department. The successful candidate will work closely with our main lawyer to manage and follow up on all debt collection cases, ensuring timely recovery of owed amounts while maintaining professionalism and client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Assist the main lawyer in reviewing and managing active debt collection cases.
– Communicate effectively with clients, debtors, and relevant stakeholders in both English and Arabic.
– Conduct thorough follow-ups on outstanding debts through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
– Negotiate payment plans and settlements while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
– Maintain accurate records of all interactions and updates related to debt recovery efforts.
– Prepare reports on collection activities and progress for review by the main lawyer.
– Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection practices.
– Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
**Qualifications:**
– Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
– Proven experience in debt collection, preferably within a law firm or financial services environment.
– Strong negotiation and communication skills.
– Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures related to debt collection.
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
– Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
– Proficient in using computer systems and debt collection software.
