Legal & Compliance Student Assistant – Fintech Start-up (A2A & Open Banking)
📍 Copenhagen
⏳ Part-time (5h/week)
At Acount Technologies / AcountPay, we’re on a mission to move payments beyond cards—unlocking instant, low-cost account-to-account (A2A) payments powered by open banking (Token.io) across Europe.
Operating within evolving European frameworks (PSD2/PSD3, instant payments), legal and compliance are core to how we build, partner, and scale.
We’re looking for a Legal & Compliance Student Assistant to support this journey.
What you’ll work on
· Draft and review commercial contracts, T&Cs, and privacy frameworks
· Track and interpret key regulatory developments (PSD2/PSD3, GDPR, instant payments)
· Support merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB, and partner due diligence
· Contribute to compliance frameworks, policies, and audit preparation
· Work closely with Product, Commercial, and Operations to enable compliant growth
· Research cutting-edge topics across open banking, payments regulation, and data
What we’re looking for
· Law student (final stage preferred)
· Strong interest in fintech, payments, and regulation
· Solid understanding of PSD2/GDPR (PSD3 is a plus)
· Structured, proactive, and commercially minded
· Fluent in English (additional EU languages are a bonus)
