One of the country’s largest financial technology firms is searching for a Legal Compliance Associate to join their Law Enforcement Response Team100% remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with law enforcement and government agencies to ensure compliance with legal process requests such as subpoenas, search warrants, and CIDs.
This role begins on a 6-month, W2 contract that offers a 100% remote schedule, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to protect small businesses across the country!
Responsibilities:
Serve as point of contact for incoming legal process requests
Ensure all requests are handled in compliance with the laws and internal guidelines
Engage with law enforcement and coordinate response efforts both in writing and over the phone
Analyze, Optimize, and maintain law enforcement response requests
Work cross-functionally with various internal teams, including Compliance, Legal, Attorneys, Trust and Safety, and Infosec
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience working with legal compliance and/or law enforcement response
College degree preferred
Must be open to appear in court which may require occasional travel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
