The Legal & Compliance Analyst provides legal expertise and support across the company’s contract management, compliance, and risk mitigation functions. This role is responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and advising on contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing legal risks. Reporting to the Legal and Compliance Manager, the Legal & Compliance Analyst works closely with internal stakeholders to support business growth while ensuring legal integrity in all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review:

Draft, review, and redline contracts, including subcontractor agreements, vendor contracts, and Letters of Intent (LOIs).

Ensure contracts align with company policies, industry regulations, and risk management best practices.

Provide pre & post-execution contract support by clarifying obligations and answering inquiries.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, particularly in construction, licensing, and employment.

Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership on necessary compliance updates.

Support subcontractor prequalification processes and ensure proper risk management protocols are in place.

Manage and track company permits, ensuring compliance with expiration and renewal deadlines.

Internal Legal Operations & Strategy:

Provide guidance to internal teams, including Sales, Operations, HR, and Finance, on legal risks and best practices when necessary.

Assist in structuring contracts to protect company interests & support growth.

Support corporate governance initiatives and ensure legal integrity in business operations.

Monitor and support all legal responses pertaining to insurance claims and other litigation requests as necessary.

Compliance & Documentation Support:

Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance Manager to optimize legal workflows and compliance strategies.

Support the use of Technology for efficient contract and compliance management.

Assist in maintaining internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in legal studies, business, risk management, or a related field, and a Paralegal Certification.

Experience: 1+ years of legal experience, preferably in contract law, construction, compliance, or risk management.

Skills:

Strong contract review and drafting skills.

Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.

Proficiency in contract management systems and legal documentation practices.
