Full Job Description
Description:
Effectively manage and collect on a portfolio of accounts as they progress through the legal stream
Inbound and outbound collection calls
Effectively utilize multiple skip tracing tools to locate the customer
Analyze each customer’s financial situation, overcome obstacles, and negotiate payment arrangements
Meet or exceed monthly production goals for monthly BONUSES
Adhere to quality standards set by the firm and our client
Adhere to compliance standards, applicable laws and regulations that govern third-party collections (i.e. FDCPA)
Skills/Knowledge/Education:
High school diploma/GED
Excellent Customer Service skills
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a collections and/or legal environment
Demonstrated confidence, initiative and negotiation skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve, prioritize, organize daily work and multi-task
Work both independently and as a team in a rapidly evolving environment
Results-oriented with a demonstrated sense of urgency
Fundamental financial understanding
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new technologies

Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Strong Computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. A minimum of intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desire to learn and ability to adapt quickly to a changing business environment.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong customer service skills.
Dependability and regular attendance, with a willingness to work more than 40 hours per week if needed.
Professionalism, articulate and hard working individual.
