Role Description This full-time Legal Claims Processor role is a hybrid position based in San Ignacio, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home responsibilities. The Legal Claims Processor will review, analyze, and process legal claims in accordance with company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory guidelines. Daily tasks include verifying documentation, entering and updating claim information in internal systems, tracking claim status, and preparing routine reports. The role involves communicating with legal representatives, and internal stakeholders to clarify claim details, resolve issues, and ensure timely handling. The Legal Claims Processor will also assist with claim file organization, follow-up on outstanding information, and support continuous process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong claims processing and claims management skills, including reviewing, validating, and tracking claims through resolution.
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and terminology, with an understanding of policy coverage, legal documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
  • Customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally, manage expectations, and support positive client experiences.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple claims, deadlines, and documentation accurately.
  • Proficiency with office software and claims management systems; ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating reliability, time management, and self-direction.
  • Relevant experience in claims, insurance, legal administration, or a related field; post-secondary education in business, law, or a related discipline is an asset.
