Do you want to learn, build and participate in a growing company and do you have an affinity for handling legal disputes? Then we might be looking for you.
How to start and grow in this role:
Assist and be guided by senior Legal & Claims professionals
Analyse legal disputes, both Defence and P&I related
Handle claims from initial notifications until their resolution
Manage clients, brokers and third-party service providers
Provide legal advice when needed
Managing case files
What we expect from you:
Interest in, or preferably familiarity with, Shipping (law) and Insurance
A customer-oriented, formal and comprehensible style of communication
Skills in fully digital surroundings (including but not limited to Microsoft Office)
Fluency in English at a professional/academic level, both spoken and written.
A minimum of one-year prior experience in either a similar legal function or alternatively in a shipping-related or adjacent role
A background in either Shipping, Maritime or otherwise (international) Commercial Law is preferred
Prior experience in a claims or insurance related roles or internships would be preferred

The option to work partly from home after having integrated into the department (assuming one day a week from home)
A thirteenth month
