The Mission Support Specialist performs a variety of general administrative tasks to support the Project Team located in El Paso, Texas.

Essential Functions:

Provide general administrative and clerical support, including but not limited to:
Filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing
Compose, type, and distribute professional correspondence, memoranda, and E-mails
Manage project calendars and team calendars as requested
Prepare work agreements and proposals
Review and respond to daily internal and external mail and overnight packages
Coordinate meetings including but not limited to:
Prepare and distribute agendas and other meeting materials
Schedule meetings via MS Teams and MS Outlook
Reserve and prepare facilities for meetings and conferences
Meeting Notetaker: Record and transcribe meeting minutes
Provide general administrative support for asset management, purchasing, and other support functions
Assist and maintain eAPP schedules
Provide support to all staff needing to complete eAPP
Conduct research, compile, and type statistical reports
Attend meetings and other functions as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned by Management
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
Ability to use SharePoint
Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
Good research skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience:

High School diploma is required. 2-year degree, desired
2 years relevant experience is required
A valid Class C driver’s license is required
Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
Must pass a motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment
