We are recruiting for a Legal Associate to support a reputable and well-established law firm in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on VARA licensing and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documentation for virtual assets and financial services.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to deliver timely, strategic insights to clients.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in the VARA framework, financial services, and fintech regulation.
- Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with external clients.
Qualifications
- Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience—preferably in virtual assets, fintech, or financial services regulation.
- Deep understanding of the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) framework and UAE regulatory requirements.
- Experience drafting and negotiating legal documentation for financial products or virtual asset services.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
