Overview
LH Low & Associates is seeking a capable and motivated Legal Associate to support the Firm’s continued growth and delivery of high-quality legal services. This role is integral to maintaining continuity of service, ensuring timely client engagement, and strengthening overall operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of legal services across litigation, conveyancing, and/or corporate and commercial matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured legal documents.
- Assist in managing case files efficiently, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
- Respond promptly to client enquiries and provide professional support throughout the matter lifecycle.
- Contribute to client consultations and assist in progressing new enquiries and leads.
- Maintain high standards of client care to enhance client confidence and service quality.
- Work collaboratively with the Principal and wider team while demonstrating initiative and accountability.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in legal practice along with the potential to grow into a trusted legal adviser within the Firm.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ PQE in litigation, conveyancing, corporate/commercial practice, or a combination thereof.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational ability with sound file management skills.
- Commercial awareness and a professional approach to client service.
- A proactive attitude, with accountability and commitment to continuous learning.
- Willingness to learn and develop under supervision within a structured environment.
Desirable
- Experience in independently conducting client consultations (not essential). Greater emphasis will be placed on aptitude, professionalism, communication skills, and the ability to develop under mentorship.
