We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in legal documentation, compliance, and administrative support, particularly in Pakistan. The role requires a strong understanding of local and federal laws, excellent analytical and drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Job Description

Record and proofread legal documents.

Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

Manage physical and digital archiving of documents, records, and reports, including maintaining databases and files.

Review and organize old files and documents.

Oversee daily administrative functions, prioritize tasks, and ensure follow-ups are conducted as needed.

Conduct due diligence on contracts and business agreements.

Perform legal and factual research.

Monitor and ensure compliance with updated local and federal laws and regulations.

Organize and analyze legal information.

Handle transactions with authorities, including MOA updates and secretary amendments.

Prepare correspondence, resolutions, and minutes of meetings.

Organize and track case files and coordinate law office activities.

Assist in managing multiple cases and provide related support.

Coordinate document translations and attestations as required.

Process third-party and vendor invoices.

Collaborate with other business functions as needed.

Prepare and manage regular legal summaries and reports.

Provide general support for the smooth operations of the legal department.

Qualifications

Education: Law Graduate, Diploma, or relevant law degree.

Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience, preferably in in-house corporate roles. Previous legal experience in Pakistan is mandatory.

Expertise in Pakistan’s legal frameworks, regulatory practices, and documentation processes. The position requires in-depth knowledge of the Pakistan legal and administrative systems, along with hands-on experience coordinating with authorities and stakeholders in Pakistan. This ensures effective execution of responsibilities related to compliance and legal documentation specific to Pakistan.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and federal laws in the Middle East and Pakistan.

Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage).

Candidates should be currently based in UAE.

The role involves frequent travel to Pakistan.
