Description
As an Associate on the Legal Insights team at Colmore (a Preqin company) you will assist in driving the development of groundbreaking tools for the private markets investment industry through legal term extraction, research and analysis.
What You’ll Be Doing
Extract and summarise key legal and economic terms from fund-related legal documents in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in business development activities, such as contributing to bid development and preparation of materials for presentations, webinars, conferences and pitches
Ensure the quality and integrity of the files and data on the system are maintained
Undertake any other duties commensurate with the nature and position of the post
What You’ll Bring To Us
Solid research, document review and analysis experience, particularly of LPAs
Excellent report writing and drafting skills
Knowledge of and experience in the private equity industry
Are familiar with commercial contracts
PQ within a reputable private equity / corporate/commercial practice or be a paralegal with demonstrable experience working in private practice
Have an eye to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality LPA extractions and reports
Organised and able to work to strict deadlines with the ability to prioritise realistically and to address potential issues
Maintaining and building groundbreaking tools
