Legal Associate ECC Legal is building a
modern
legal practice to serve Web3 projects both in India and globally. Leveraging Hashed Emergent’s and Hashed’s extensive network, we are committed to bridging the gap in crypto legal services—a white space poised for a surge in demand. We are looking for a founding team legal associate to join ECC Legal. This is a high-agency role, offering direct client engagement and the opportunity to handle complex legal matters. The role also includes providing legal support to our portfolio companies and external clients across emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse the requirement, draft and negotiate transactional documents for equity and token fundraising by Web3 projects. Advise on the strategic and operational legal aspects of token launches. Provide Indian regulatory guidance for crypto projects entering India, while coordinating with global legal teams for non-Indian regulatory advice. Handle both routine corporate legal work and high-impact strategic matters for crypto companies. Research and publish thought
leadership
content on emerging trends in crypto law.
Support ad hoc legal projects as needed. Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in transactional work, particularly in equity fundraising, at an Indian law firm. Prior experience working on crypto fundraising deals . Strong passion for blockchain technology and the Web3 space. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
. Ability to work independently, take ownership of legal projects , and contribute to
cross-functional teams
. Comfortable operating in a
fast-paced
, high-pressure, and
entrepreneurial
environment.

Qualification:
BA-LLB or LLB from a reputed Indian university with an excellent academic record
