Competitive Salary: Competitive base salary starting at $80,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in bankruptcy court and post-hearing consultations.
Prepare and file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions, appearing before bankruptcy trustees to confirm plans.
Research and draft motions in accordance with U.S. bankruptcy code and case law, including defending against creditor motions.
Explore opportunities to work in additional practice areas, such as Wills and Estates, Real Estate, and Contracts.

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy experience preferred.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.
Tech-savvy and collaborative mindset.
Spanish language skills a plus.
