Southeastern Virginia Powersports, LLC (SEVA Powersports) is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance and Insurance (F&I) Sales Team. SEVA Powersports is a team oriented small business that promises our customers an exceptional sales and service experience with honesty and integrity beyond their expectations. Saturday work is required.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to fast track into our Finance and Insurance (F&I) department. This individual will start as a Parts, Garments, and Accessories (PG&A) Cashier and advance through Title Clerk duties into a Finance and Insurance (F&I) Specialist.
PG&A Salesperson/Cashier duties and responsibilities include:
Ensures appropriate merchandise stock levels; ensures selling floor is adequately stocked
Accurately and efficiently completes all sales transactions and maintains proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers; receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits; issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers; and processes merchandise returns and exchanges
Receives and counts stock items, and record data manually or using computer
Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigates discrepancies or adjust errors
Title Clerk duties and responsibilities include:
Processes new motorcycles and used registrations on dealer’s software system; processes used motorcycle title transfers; and maintains follow-up on all incoming titles; reviews vehicle titles for accuracy and completeness to include VIN, odometer reading, and release of liens
Interacts with customers, dealers, and representatives of regulatory agencies in conducting daily administrative duties and resolution of title issues
Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles; maintains current knowledge of DMV regulations regarding vehicle titles for each state in which vehicles are processed
Maintains deal folders for inventory and ordered units; assist the Sales Department with information to complete deals
F&I Specialist duties and responsibilities include:
Offers motorcycle financing and insurance to customers and provides them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies; required to master an “up-sell” process centric to individual customer needs/desires while working in concert with dealership profitability/efficiency goals (i.e., no hard sales tactics)
Meets and/or exceeds local market retail sales metrics, customer/client relationship development goals, customer retention/satisfaction requirements and other non-financial targets/metrics
Processes financing deals accurately and securing approvals through sources to secure loan approval; maintains multiple bank/credit union relationships in order to facilitate major unit sales tailored to customers; need, desire, credit worthiness, etc.
Develops an extensive knowledgebase of the OEM; brand, history, major unit features and all PG&A offerings
Position Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED required; BA or higher in business, finance, or related field preferred
Ability to obtain a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License required. Must pass a background check and maintain a clean background to keep the necessary sales license.
Excellent selling, organizational, and computer skills required.
Excellent customer service/client focus skills
Excellent computer/technology skills and currency of skills
Preferred
One to five years’ sales experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry
Motorcycle enthusiast highly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
