Our client in Birmingham City Centre is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!
Benefits:
Salary:
Up to £25,000 per annum.
Located in Birmingham City Centre.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break).
33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
Annual holiday entitlement increases!
Birthday off!
Fully office-based role.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide legal support in Public Law matters, including judicial reviews, human rights cases, community care, and regulatory law.
Deliver efficient, cost-effective legal support to clients, team members, and directors.
Manage and maintain accurate case records on the firm’s system (ALB), ensuring all key dates are recorded and tracked.
Participate in firm-provided training for continuous
professional development
.
Handle client communications sensitively, especially for vulnerable clients, and actively engage in business development and marketing activities.
Required
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in Public Law, with a strong understanding of areas like judicial review and community care.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
document management
, and case management systems, especially ALB.
Excellent
communication
and client care skills, with the ability to address sensitive issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High
attention to detail
and adherence to compliance standards, including GDPR and Data Protection Act requirements.
