What You’ll Do
- Review, prepare, and file patent applications and related prosecution documents with the USPTO and WIPO.
- Manage deadlines with precision, ensuring timely filing and tracking of critical dates.
- Communicate directly with clients, gathering necessary information, providing updates, and building strong, professional relationships.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and other team members to ensure consistency and efficiency across cases.
- Participate in workflow improvement initiatives, suggesting ideas to streamline processes and enhance the client experience.
- Learn the foundational elements of patent prosecution to support your professional development and eventual transition into a paralegal role.
Qualifications
- Prior legal administrative experience, preferably in patent law or a related legal field.
- Excellent writing, grammar, and document review skills.
- Familiarity with legal case management and document systems (experience with patent-specific tools is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and an exceptional eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in intellectual property and a desire to advance professionally.

Base Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
