We have an exciting opportunity for a legal secretary or paralegal to join our rapidly growing, specialist family law firm based in our Wollongong office. Your familiarity with specific software. We will provide training on our practice management software if required.
The Roles And Responsibilities Include
Answering telephones and being the first point of contact for new enquiries, greeting clients, administrative tasks and general office duties including maintaining a clean and organised office space
Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure an exceptional client experience
Preparing and assisting with legal documents and correspondence
Liaising with clients, lawyers and others in person, by telephone and email
Case management including working closely with our Principal Solicitor
Day to day file management, including management of opening and closing of files and organising and maintaining electronic files
Email and diary management and scheduling of meetings, managing court appearances and deadlines for our legal team
Preparing Briefs to Counsel
Filing Court documents
Billing and accounts
There is also the ability to be involved in other aspects of the business that suit your interests such as social media, marketing and business development activities
This is not suited to a graduate solicitor. This is a full-time position but part time will be considered for the right candidate.
